Creating a Birthday Card with *NEW* LDRS Creative Delicate Stems Press Plate
Good Morning! It’s time for the Summer 2024 New Release from LDRS Creative! I have a new card tutorial for you featuring the new Delicate Stems Impress-ion letter press plates and stencils. The texture from Impress-ion dies/plates is amazing and when you couple that with the cotton water color card panels from LDRS Creative, the image makes an excellent focal point for your cards. So let’s get started.

Card Instructions
- Cut score and fold an A2 top folding card base.
- Using the Modern Trellis A2 die cut a panel of black card stock.
- Use liquid glue to adhere the die-cut to the card base and set aside.
- Letter press the Delicate Stems plate with Raven Hybrid Ink and an LDRS cotton watercolor card panel.
- Allow the panel to dry and then watercolor with your favorite medium. I used Distress Oxide water color pencils.
- Use the medium sized Arches die to cut your watercolored panel.
- Rub Versamark ink along the edges of the arch, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat.
- I also added splatters to the panel with gold watercolor paint.
- Add foam tape to back of the watercolored panel and add on top of black panel.
- Use the Anytime Sentiment stamp and Raven ink to stamp multiple sentiments. Cut with coordinating die.
- Cut a gold shadow with the Shadow Stack die.
- Adhere sentiment to shadow. Glue onto your arch panel.
