Best Friends Forever-Card Tutorial

Hello!  I have a new card tutorial with lots of dimension and minimal coloring!  It’s super easy!  This is a great all occasion stamp set just to let that special friend know how much they mean!

Supplies Used

Card Instructions

  • Cut score and fold an A2, top folding card base.
  • Use Master Layouts 2 dies and cut white panels. I use the Gina K Designs Intri Cut machine and LOVE it.
  • Emboss the smaller panel with the Happy Hearts embossing folder.
  • Use the Altenew Fresh Dye Ink-Sapphire in the edges of the larger rectangle. TIP-this is a great way to reduce the amount of colored card stock you need!
  • I used the same ink to VERY lightly blend over the embossed panel. I also splattered it with gold watercolor paint and the Sapphire ink.
  • To stamp the strip of envelopes, I stamped and masked the image 3 times using Raven Hybrid Ink.
  • Between each stamping, I added clear embossing powder and heated.
  • Using colored pencils, a blending stump and Gamsol, I colored the hearts.
  • I fussy cut the image and then added Glossy Accents to the hearts. Set aside to dry. It takes a while 😉
  • I grabbed a heart die from my stash and die-cut it from white card.
  • I then stamped the sentiments and little hearts and number, with VersaColor Cardinal ink, using my Misti. I heat embossed with WOW Clear embossing powder.
  • I used the small heart die and cut a heart from matte gold card scraps.
  • Now it’s time to assemble!
  • Glue the blue inked panel to your embossed panel. I used liquid glue.
  • Pop those panels on to the bas with foam tape.
  • Pop your elements on with foam tape.
  • Glue the little gold heart down with glue.
