“Not So Fancy” Floral Fun Fold Birthday Card
Good Morning!
This is NOT a fancy, fun-fold. I am not fancy like that (Cue the Walker Haye’s song…). I am quite happy with a glorified gatefold. So today that’s what we’re making.

Card Instructions
- Use one of the rectangles from Master Layout 1 to cut a panel from white card stock.
- Stencil the Sweetheart Florals onto the panel. I used the inks above.

- Use the Double Stitched Scallop Circle, tape the two dies together, place on the stenciled panel. (I placed it towards the top, in the center)
- Die-cut the panel with the dies. Set the cut panel aside for now.
- I took the stenciled circle and dry embossed with the Swiss Dot folder. Then I lightly swiped a darker purple across the circle. What do you think?

- I ink blended the lighter green around the edge of the scalloped circle frame.
- Use the dies to cut 3-4 additional pieces from your scraps. Glue 2 of the frames together.
- Glue 3 of the circles together.
- Add the stenciled pieces on top with glue. This adds different levels of dimension and stability.
- Create a gatefold card base with Kraft card stock.
- Now take what remains of the stenciled panel, center onto the front of the Kraft card base. Use liquid glue and adhere ONLY one side of the stenciled panel to ONE flap of the gatefold.
- Once dry, open the gatefold, line up with the edge of your trimmer and cut.
- Close the gate fold, line up the stenciled halves and glue down.
- Next, grab your Misti and decide where you want your sentiment. I used a sentiment from Gina K Designs, Ornate Spring stamp set.
- Place the base in your Misti and stamp the sentiment in black ink.
- Cover the with clear embossing powder and heat.
- Now, close the card base.
- Add liquid glue to HALF of the cut out area.
- Align your focal point and secure to the glued area.
- Close the card up and put something heavy on top.
- Allow to dry and then add some bling to a few of the flower centers.
Thank you for stopping by, I so appreciate it!
Love the ease of this card, although it looks more difficult! Lovely!
